On the 12th of May 2014, Holy Family Parish Hall hosted the first session of a new Line Dancing Group. A few brave but keen beginners attended and enjoyed it so much that word spread and, after only a few weeks, the “Trammers Line Dancing Club” was born. And we’ve put the “Fun” into Fundraising: Over the past years we have given over £5,000 to Holy Family Church funds - all our takings for the year, since we take nothing for expenses. Sylvia Delargy, our teacher and organiser, has done a really brilliant job in teaching us all and is so generous with her time and talents: She has our most grateful thanks!
So why not come along and join us every Monday afternoon in Holy Family Parish Hall, Tram Street, Platt Bridge from 1.00pm to 3.00pm? All ages, shapes and sizes are welcome! And it’s only £2 for two hours of dancing and socialising (you can just sit and watch if you like) plus you get a cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit - it’s a bargain! And for exercise, well it beats going to the gym!
